JUNIOR SERVICE LEAGUE "EXCELLENCE IN EDUCATION" GRANTS

In partnership with the Bay Education Foundation, The Junior Service League “Excellence in Education” grant program is a Junior Service League of Panama City (JSL) project designed to improve the quality of life for children by encouraging and supporting excellence in teaching. The grants will enable teachers to implement original and creative learning experiences beyond the basic curriculum in school budgets.  Grants will be awarded for projects that create an innovative learning experience for students.

For the 2010-2011 year, the Junior Service League has designated $15,000 + a matching grant of $10,000 by The Bay Education Foundation for a total of $25,000 to this program.  We look forward to awarding 50 grants of $500 each to teachers in the public and private school sector.
