Panama City has a reputation for beautiful sandy beaches, southern charm and coastal cuisine. What better way to take home a piece of Panama City with you, than a cookbook which highlights some of our area’s most popular recipes.
Junior Service League offers three very different and distinct cookbooks.
Bay Leaves, first published in 1975, is now in its 13th printing and has sold over 98,000 copies. This cookbook features some local favorite recipes. Bay Leaves was honored with induction into the Southern Living Hall of Fame.
A companion to the acclaimed Bay Leaves, Beyond The Bay goes one step further. It includes eight full-color divider pages created by local artist Paul Brent, who showcases the themes of Bay County, both old and new. It also includes some award winning recipes sure to please any palate.
Bay Fetes, honoring our organization’s 50th anniversary, is an entertainment cookbook. The pages include color photographs and recipes highlighting the flavors and history of our area. It also includes helpful decorating hints and menus that can be used for any occasion or celebration.
Proceeds from the sales of all of our cookbooks benefit League projects such as the Child Service Center, Kids on the Block, ASAP and Girls on the Run.
